After the shipment is created、 the warehouse is allocated and the following information is confirmed for booking:

All FBA warehouse addresses finally assigned (including FBA CODE)

Statistics of goods (total number of pieces: number of boxes or pallets/total gross weight KG/total volume CBM/single piece size)

Confirm the delivery address/delivery time/CONSIGNEE information with the customer service (as the importer)

The goods shall be packed in cartons or cardboard according to Amazon's requirements:

Small goods: stick SKU barcode;

Carton: in order to prevent falling off during transportation、 it is recommended to stick labels on all sides of the outer carton and cover it with transparent adhesive tape;

Card board: European standard (European standard card board/4way、 1.2M long * 0.8M wide * 1.6M high)

British standard (European standard card board/4way、 1.2M long * 0.8M wide * 1.7M high)

American standard (American standard card board/4way、 1.2M long * 1M wide * 1.8M high)

If the cargo exceeds half a pallet、 it needs to be palletized.

What information and documents should be provided by FBA for shipment

Express channel:

The original commercial fp of 1 type and 3 minutes shall be provided along with the goods;

In addition、 we need to provide an electronic version of the commercial fp to our company;

Sea/Air:

In case of no customs declaration document: just provide the electronic packing list in Chinese and English/fp (please go to the help center - data download)

To be noted: Shipment name/ID; Amazon Reference ID

A complete set of customs declaration materials shall be provided if there are customs declaration documents

1. Differences in the selection range: compared with the FBA warehouse、 the third-party overseas warehouse is more extensive、 like products with large volume and weight、 and suitable third-party overseas warehouses can also be found.

2. Difference of first course service: FBA warehouse will not provide first course customs clearance service、 but some third-party overseas warehouse will.

3. Difference in requirements for products before warehousing: The warehousing of FBA warehouse is relatively strict、 which requires the seller to stick the outer box label and product label before shipment. If the outer box or product label is damaged、 the seller will be required to sort it out before warehousing.

The warehousing requirements of the third-party overseas warehouse are not as high as those of the FBA warehouse、 and they even provide sorting and assembly services before putting on the shelf.

4. Differences in distribution after product warehousing: Amazon defaults to separate warehouses、 while third-party overseas warehouses generally place goods from the same seller in the same warehouse for centralized management.

5. Difference in warehousing cost: Generally speaking、 if the volume of goods is large、 the cost of using the FBA warehouse is higher than that of the third-party overseas warehouse.

6. Differences in product promotion support: choosing FBA and Amazon platforms will increase the exposure of sellers' products、 such as improving the ranking of sellers' products、 helping sellers seize gold shopping carts、 etc.、 which will help improve the flow and sales of sellers' stores.

Compared with international express delivery and air transportation、 ocean transportation has more and more complicated processes. Because of the large volume of goods and many categories、 there are mainly the following processes: booking space、 loading containers、 customs declaration、 customs clearance、 and picking up goods.

Booking space: Before shipping、 first confirm with the cooperative logistics supplier that your goods can be transported、 such as flammable and explosive goods、 military goods、 medical equipment、 counterfeit brands、 adult supplies and batteries over 100 watts can not be transported、 the shipping company can transport your goods、 and you also need to confirm what certification your goods need in the exporting country to avoid being seized by the customs. When you are ready for this、 you can book space with the shipping agent from the shipping company、 and then issue the SO form. Generally、 you can make an advance forecast two to three days before loading. At this time、 you can prepare the customs declaration materials.

Container loading: Choose a freight forwarding company that can pick up goods free of charge in this city、 and you can save a delivery fee. Before packing、 the number of pieces、 weight、 squares and plates shall be confirmed before packing、 so as to avoid the discrepancy between the freight forwarder's measurement and its own、 and the packing list shall be prepared. Then make an appointment with the freight forwarder to pick up the goods.

Customs declaration: customs declaration can be divided into tax refund customs declaration and bill declaration. Only companies with import and export business rights and companies that have signed paperless customs declaration at electronic ports can apply for tax refund customs declaration. Generally、 materials that need to be prepared are: foreign trade contracts、 invoices、 packing lists、 customs declaration letters of attorney (not used in Ningbo Shanghai Guangzhou)、 draft customs declaration forms (including declaration elements)、 special documents (customs clearance forms for outbound goods、 export licenses、 etc.). If the materials are not fully prepared or need to be replenished、 the freight forwarding company will notify you to replenish the materials in time to ensure the normal delivery of the goods.

Customs clearance: mainly including declaration、 tax payment、 inspection and release. The shipping order and declaration form shall be prepared and submitted to the customs at the destination、 and then the customs shall pay taxes according to the declared value of goods. The customs will inspect and review the goods according to the inspection process of relevant goods. This may delay some time、 depending on the nature and category of the goods. As long as there is no problem in the inspection、 the customs will release and then the consignee can pick up the goods.
